1.Press MEAT button to power on,hold 2 or 3 seconds to power off,it can auto turn off in 10 minutes to save power,storage of previous setting.

(6)Instruction of measuring temperature of meat

1.Insert the tines halfway into the thickest part of meat(at least 1/2")

2.Wait approximately 15-20 seconds for the probe to obtain accurate temperature.

3.The proper pointer of taste level will turn on and flash to indicate the taste level of meat,as the temperature increase to the next level,the pointer of that level would also turn on and continue flashing.

4.Once the predetermined taste level is reached,the temperature reading will flash and the fork will beep to indicate the taste level of meat.

5.Press MEAT or TASTE button to clear the flashing LCD and to stop beeping.

6.Remove the tines once the temperature is reached.

7.If you need to a second reading of temperature immediately,press either MEAT or TASTE to stop flashing LCD and alarm of beeping,but please be ware that the reading would be faster change if fork is still warm.


1.Always insert the tines into the thickest part of meat as the thinner part tend to cook faster and is difficult to accurately measure the taste level.

2.When inserting the tines into meat,avoid fatty part and bones.

3.Wash the tines with hot soapy water after each use to prevent cross contamination.
